What a day.. I'm beat! Kev and I spent most of the day hauling boxes to a storage unit. I am trying to clear the house so that we can start showing it and I am worried that someone sneaking around might try to jack some of our nicer things so I am putting it in guarded storage. The one thing I have HATED about the house we are in is all of the stairs. We are in a 4 split-level house and it's all stairs! I grew up in a split-level in Mapleton but I was 20 years younger too! Now after having two babies, no sleep, low energy.. I am so out of shape! I bet I make 200 trips up and down every day. They probably don't have a pedometer that can count that high by the time I'm done going up and down all day long.

I went shopping with Stacy tonight and we both agreed that we're gonna start walking after work. I hate these women that can have a baby and in three months they look thinner than before they got pregnant in the first place! I am so not that way. It takes me forever to loose weight and it's always been a problem for me. SO we are going to start. Neither of us can afford the gym nor do I have the time! I have kids that I tend from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM and then it's dinner time, then it's family time, and by then I am exhausted! Walking is going to have to be the starting point to getting back into shape. Only three years ago I did a five-mile hike with the young women and didn't even have to catch my breath...but not anymore!

Back to shopping.. after like 3 or 4 hours of shopping we got home and discovered that Alex had lost a shoe. I had stopped at Walmart to get some formula, milk, eggs, and shampoo. I decided that since I wouldn't be able to sleep trying to remember the last time I saw him with them on.. I made Brookie go back to Walmart with me. I remembered that one time when I was getting him out of the cart his shoe had stuck in the seat hole and it fell on my foot. I figured that was what had happened again. Well I was RIGHT! I wouldn't have stressed about it except that Alex has very wide and very flat feet. I have to shop around and usually end up spending at least 20-30 dollars on a pair of wide width tennis shoes and he only got these a few weeks ago. I still remember the time he lost my keys at Shopko. He pulled them out and ended up hooking them on a clothing rack. Luckily I found them relatively quick but I thought about it later and it was just plain LUCKY!

Kids.. they keep you on your toes and never let you rest!
